January 27th marks the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest of the Nazi death camps. On this day each year people from all over the world unite to remember the six million Jews murdered during the Holocaust, alongside the millions of other people killed under Nazi persecution and in subsequent genocides in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur.

This year we mark the HMD at North Kent College with the testimonies of two public Service students, Jess Sheeley and Robyn Paterson, and two members of staff, Pip France and Jordan Bonner, who travelled to Auschwitz back in November 2019 to take part in a trip run by the Holocaust Memorial Trust. Click play on the video below to hear them in conversation with Sue Barry, where they reflect on their life changing experience.
